Red is not only attractive, it’s also associated with warmth and a sense of urgency, encouraging people to make that purchase. Color affects our mood, so it’s no coincidence that so many brands utilize red in their logo. Think pastel shades, monochrome, and black and white. We All Seek Quiet-Consciously or Unconsciously These portraits were created using a single hand-drawn line and simple color palette. People are hard-wired to be visual, to be attracted to images, but it can be too much. The same concept applies to illustrations used in blogs and articles-especially the header images. It sounds plain and simple, but that’s not easy to create. Aside from the rule of thumb that it should represent your brand accurately, logos should also captivate the audience and be easy to remember. Image via pongsakorn chaina.įast forward to today, so many brands are adapting to the minimalism trend. Too Much Design Is Just Too Much Minimalist logos are captivating and easy to remember. While their works are in bright colors, the illustration and lines were at their simplest. Frank Stella, Donald Judd, and Yayoi Kusama were among the first artists who really showed the world what minimalism looks like. It focuses on clean lines and neutral color palettes, which was a fresh sighting in the 1950’s. Back then, it was considered a “boundary-pushing art movement” that showcases the simplicity of things. Minimalism started to emerge sometime in the late 1950s. Where Did the Minimalism Design Trend Come From? Yayoi Kusama’s room of polka dots. It’s just that unconsciously (or consciously), people are now choosing more modest illustrations. Advertisements and digital media have bombarded us with brightly-colored illustrations, flashing images, and neon lights, which are still interesting, for sure. In logos, social media posts, color palettes, blogs, and website imagery, we become more and more attracted to the simple, the bare minimum. So, there’s no question why brands and individuals building creative careers lean on minimalism for their digital presence. Today, however, there’s just too much noise on social media. We’re really into sharing parts of our lives and meeting new people in the digital space. A year later, Myspace surfaced, which had 25 million users by 2005. But Friendster, in 2002, is probably one of the most-remembered. The first social media website-Six Degrees-was born in 1997. Brightly-colored illustrations take a break as minimalism draws in the general public. ![]() ![]() You can donate by using Paypal ☑️ or Debit or Credit card users □ : or □ Support us guys and help to grow this community :
![]() Music: Act 1 - Where the Wind Rustles | YT KHin NES ![]() I would rather not sit through three conversations of "Yes, Fernand is an asshole, but try to like him please?". ![]() ![]() Like, I know we've been alluding to a future Clive support, but imagine what a (more than likely) Fernand/Clive support would have been like. But alas, that backstory doesn't really make up for the bad introduction and in-your-face assholery Fernand embodies. It just feels like they wanted to give Alm more named antagonists for his route, since the only ones he faced in the original were Desaix, Nuibaba and Rudolf, but like Slayde earlier, Fernand is made into "Generic asshole #15648" but now with a mildly sympathetic backstory that is meant to tie into the overarching story. Or just better integrate Fernand into the Deliverance, because from minute one, SoV does everything it can to make Fernand stand out, and in a bad way. If they did go the Shinon route for Fernand, they'd probably have to create something like a Rolf counterpart or even a Gatrie counterpart to help flesh Fernand out. I wouldn't want to recruit Algus in FFT, and Fernand is basically one scene screaming about ANIMALS HAVE NO GOD away from that, even if he makes slightly more sense. ugh, we'll talk about it when we get there.īasically. Fernand is supremely unlikable, basically.Ĭlive's isn't the only cringy support, but Clive really does have just. I mean, they could've pulled a Shinon with him, I just don't know how much I'd actually want him on my team. Honestly, we've already got Clive to slow us down as is. I personally think that dealing with his fuckery the whole time would really suck though, especially given what he'll do soon enough in the story. That was eventually cut in favor of a DLC, but it is something. So here's an interesting fact, Fernand was originally planned to stay around and be a usable unit as part of Alm's story. Then again I imagine the demographic that would play a remake of an NES game deals with that enough at work as it is.Īlso all this talk of cringy support chains is making me dread more Clive. Honestly I kind of wish we hadn't had the obvious asshole leave to inevitably become a midboss, it would have been more interesting to be stuck with him pretty much the entire game and have to deal with/plan around his bullshit. I have no idea how that happened, but somehow Clive managed the impossible and hit two consecutive 1% chances.Īs for fountains: Give Gray all of the Defense. On the other hand, he's the only unit that has managed to get back-to-back Resistance level ups in any of my runs. ![]() And boy howdy, does Clive not disappoint in that category. If you were wondering where Alm's actual "prepromote with bad growths that's carried by their bases for a hot minute" type unit was, well here he is. IIRC, Clive also has the lowest sum total growths for the playable cast, just to drive it home how goddamn bad Clive is from a mechanical perspective. Clive is just awful in comparison to SoV's entire playable cast, and yes, I am including the FE Cipher DLC characters in that comparison as well. Practically everyone that can roll as a Cavalier will be infinitely better at the job than Clive can. I'd probably like you better if you weren't utterly mediocre and didn't have one of the cringiest supports in the entire game.įun fact: Clive isn't just "utterly mediocre", he is genuinely the worst character from a stats perspective in this game. ![]() ![]() ![]() McPherson RD (1970) A numerical study of the effect of a coastal irregularity on the sea breeze. Fracture Gap of the Lateral Malleolus via Posterolateral Approach. In this technical note, indications, techniques, benefits, and limitations of this approach are discussed. Selection of a specific cast or splint varies based on the area of the body being treated, and on the acuity and stability of the injury. The purpose of this study was to describe a posterolateral approach to open reduction and internal fixation of a PMF using the lateral malleolus fracture gap. All patients who are placed in a splint or cast require careful monitoring to ensure proper recovery. X-ray examination revealed an opaque plate over the lateral malleolus. Excessive immobilization from continuous use of a cast or splint can lead to chronic pain, joint stiffness, muscle atrophy, or more severe complications (e.g., complex regional pain syndrome). Residuals of a left ankle fracture are manifested by marked limitation of ankle. To maximize benefits while minimizing complications, the use of casts and splints is generally limited to the short term. Because of this, casts provide superior immobilization but are less forgiving, have higher complication rates, and are generally reserved for complex and/or definitive fracture management. This quality makes splints ideal for the management of a variety of acute musculoskeletal conditions in which swelling is anticipated, such as acute fractures or sprains, or for initial stabilization of reduced, displaced, or unstable fractures before orthopedic intervention. Splints are noncircumferential immobilizers that accommodate swelling. It involves the bony knob outside of your ankle called the lateral malleolus, according to a 2019 study.
